I remember once that I had played a WW2 console game, and it was pretty fun. I can't believe I can't remember what console it was for, but what I do remember was that on the cover of the game, there was a guy in a soldier helmet smoking a cigarette, along with the fact that you could call in supplies, artillery pieces, etc.
It was sort of like the Xbox/PS2 game Mercenaries. I also remember it had flamethrower tanks.
