Not true. It tells you if you have the minimum System Requirements that have been tested by the Manufacturer. It is accurate. It also gives you tips on how you can make your FPS better.

Probably because it has no idea what those new hardware specs are, maybe.  Just a theory.

Like, I agree that it's not a good way to see HOW it will run, but sometimes it is ok.
