it looks like the bartender thought he was top stuff, and thought he could boss around.... his boss.

i would fire his ass to.

its sad when something bad happens at a local place, everyone feels it.

hope that guy gets his job back and that richard manager gets his ass run out

It's kind of a richard move by the manager, who the article says is "new." If somebody is behaving like the drunk in question, then they should be thrown out, not given a free dinner.

Is your dad really a friend or is he a 'client'

we dont even know if that is true about the drunk guy.
if it was true he should have called the police like every other bartender on earth does.

i see a big-headed bartender who thinks hes earned himself some kinda celebrity status. and hes a huge pain in the ass for the management.

bartenders are a dime a dozen. no bartender is "great" in any way

Nope, he actually is a friend of Mr. Quinn

Pain in the ass or not, he apparently brought in a lot of customers because today, the bar was almost empty at happy hour.

because of the sensationalist news coverage.

give it a week, it will be full again with people who dont give a stuff about any bartender

This is BS.  I would've given Mr. Quinn a little extra in his Christmas bonus.

Have you looked at Twitter? There are so many people vowing never to visit PJ Clarke's again because of this.

because protests have ever meant anything ever in the history of mankind.
people love to be part of the news. there are 10 more customers for every 1 that isnt going anymore.
its a bar in a major city.... they will all, always be full

Yeah Bisjac is probably right. I used to think that this was a bad thing, until I searched it on Twitter.

But if you look at the target market for such a place, many of the people who go in are repeat customers. This isn't the kind of place college kids go to get piss drunk. If we look at the people who are vowing never to return and those who will vow sometime soon, that could potentially be a big chunk of the customers who would attend the place in the 6PM-4AM time slot.

And he's just whoring for attention by posting something people would search for. Take a look at actual tweets instead of links somebody will post accompanied by copy/pasted text.
