exactly why I wouldn't use this
The vehicles biggest nightmare.
You guys are wrong btw
Vehicles handle surprisingly well on this terrain

now make it work with 1x1x1 bricks, just for the hell of it.

Could you allow an option to make it place the 4x4 cubes on a vertical grid as well as a horizontal grid?
I feel if you took use of the culling people would get much better framerate.

going up it?

Im thinking about
1) Making Truce's Heightmap2BLS into C++
2) Doing a few tweeks to my current SimplexNoise Terrain GEnerator
3) Making a GUI for it
4) Releasing a build of it. So it generates Heightmaps, converts them into BLS's, and then gives you the option to save them. How does that sound?

Been there, done that

It would be easy to implement (just a rounding thing), except my personal opinion is that bricks on a vertical grid look like stuff. Also, truce's heightmap already does this (that's how I know it looks like crap)

going up it?
Yea, for any surfaces less than 60 degrees

Do what you want, sounds pretty cool though

This is probably the last bump I do, won't drag a dead horse to water or however that saying goes

0.0 that looks insane.
