Garrys mod problemssss

Ok so pretty much I have startup problems that have been occurring for quite a while and these are the first times I've encountered said problems.
Ok so problem 1: Gmod refuses to start entirely. It appears in the Process list, but no application actually starts.
Problem 2: Gmod starts but the Intro loading sequence freezes forever.

1st problem, I have a lot. Close MSN/iTunes and any torrent clients. 2nd problem, verify game cache, retry, if it doesn't work... It's wipe time.

My old computer was made in 2004 and was able to run it. Albeit I did upgrade the RAM to 1gb, the graphics card from Nvidia 5200 - 5800 Ultra - ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and added 2 extra hard drives. But it ran fine before I upgraded it. How do we know what his spec is? He hasn't posted it.

Close Errything: Done it before. Nothing.
Verify Game Cache: Done it multiple times, nothing
Reinstall: forget no. I will not wait a Day for a Completely fresh install of Gmod to finish Downloading.
Get a better computer. It may be that your computer is unable to run it: Gmod had been running perfectly until the past 2 weeks which is when these problems appeared.

Removing addons didnt help either.
forget it, I have all my addons and Adv. Dup saves backed up.
I am now going to reinstall Gmod and post what happens.
If it doesnt work then I dont know what the hell to do.

Either I did something wrong or My computer is evil.
I used "Delete Local content" and then Reinstalled the damn thing.
Didnt work.
Do I have to seriously wipe my ENTIRE Steam Directory?

Well the "Not launch at all" Problem is fixed.
I still have problems with it not responding once it starts.
