Every now and then I randomly skip ahead in the direction I'm moving. I originally thought that it would be fixed by installing the AMD Dual Core Optimizer. However after installing it the problem still occurs, and it only happens periodically. I do not understand what the problem is.

Where does it happen? Your server? Every server?

Have you tried re-installing?
It seems like it's just some kind of lag rather than an issue with Blockland.

Re-installed it and the problem was still there.

lower your quality settings, is your internet connection good?
