I'm gonna be honest, at first I read the title as "forget you Americans out there"
Anyway, it's illegal to use fireworks in town, and I don't currently know or am directly related to anyone who lives on the edge of town or in the country. It's all up in the air at this point.
Fun fact: Selling fireworks in Minnesota is illegal. Luckily for anyone who lives there (IE not me) there's a fireworks shop just on the other side of the border in South Dakota. I assume there are many others just outside state lines.
