Blockland doesn't authenticate me automatically

Hello, folks. I recently ran into the problem where Blockland doesn't authenticate me automatically. When Blockland starts up, it shows "authentication connecting" at the bottom for a few seconds, then goes to offline mode. It's almost like it can't reach the authentication server.

I can fix this problem by going to the console and typing auth_init_client(); at which point it shows Authentication SUCCESS in the console and my name at the bottom of the main menu.

I've tried uninstalling some old unused client mods to no avail, so I come to you guys to see if you can see something I don't. I have attached the console.log below and hope one of you guys can help me.

Why is Blockland using port 29708? It should be using ports 28000 - 28032. Portforward.

The blockland client picks a random port to use.

Do you have Variable and Conditional Events? You may be one of the few with it's long auth bug.

I did have it but I got rid of it during one of my reinstall fixes awhile ago. I never got around to getting it again, seems to have gotten too complex.

And what does that have to do with your problem?

Yes, I have VCE and I heard somewhere that because Zack's site is down, that it times out connecting to the "online manual", and I also heard there was a fix for it, but I can't remember it.
