Problem with Internet Connection

Posting this for my friend, Wehrmacht, because he is currently unable to access forums and the game.

This all started last night, he was playing l4d2. Minutes later he quit l4d2 and went to check BLF, which was not working. He then tried to check other websites, they were working fine.

In-game, his auth bar says "Offline Mode", but still, he's able to connect to RTB.

Any idea of what happened?
