Author Topic: I wanna make a clan, any suggestions?  (Read 2123 times)

So yeah.
I wanted to be in a clan, in some way
but all of the clans right now require you to be a super pro builder/eventer/scripter or they just suck.
So I'll make my own clan, but I don't really know what I should call it? It'll be just a kind of generic clan that does a variety of different things. Building, chatting, etc. My old clans didn't work that well(EmFlight, whatever the wolf-something clan was and FurBL all failed really fast). So I want to know what I can do to have a successful clan.

Have dedicated servers.

By your description, large, medium complexity clan builds would be a good start.

Cities work well, build roads and buildings within a 32x32 grid is not that complex, (as apposed to curvy roads etc.) people can build within good detail, and the end result is impressive.

Terrain, similar to Badspot's river builds would be fine, and with that you can aim for many different styles, if you want your clan to be a particular style.

-Management Group
-Constant Access Clan Server
-HQ Build of some sort
-Purpose
-Allie Clans

If you wanted to be professional about it, get these.

Create the clan privately and once you have a solid member base post a thread on the forums.

What's a HQ and why you need it
Headquarters Build. Where your clan can meet and discuss things in-game and whatnot.

HQs can also be used for raids.
Where 1 clan tries to raid the other.

What is your interest on Blockland/ IRL? Base a clan off that.

Don't have a stuff layout

you're going to get flamed right out the door if you do.
