Author Topic: Audio shorting out?  (Read 784 times)

I have a 50$ Lychas headset and i notice the right hear randomly cuts out and goes deaf until i wrestle the cords into a new position. this is extremely loving annoying and i only have the headset and box. can i still get a warranty? anyway to fix this?the cords randomly twist and fold up into loops randomly when set down and looks wrinkly and wavy when straight out.

This happens with my other headsets. Depends, how long have you kept it?

i have this problem to, no way to fix from what i tried.

Do you chew on the cords?

i play with te cords sometimes. not like spirally or bending them jsut swiling them around like a tentacle or something.

Try plugging them in to something else and see if they work normally.

If not, the driver is probably going out, or the connection is loose. You can't really fix the driver, but the connection can be fixed but it's moderately hard to do.

Pretty much just buy some headphones and this time don't cheap out. Don't buy a headset, they are usually overpriced due to the fact they mashed some bad headphones into a bad mic. If you do it right, you should spend a good amount of the headphones and like 5 bucks on a mic.

Thats an issue. I got this headset for 50 for my birfdey and ima start commentary soon when i get my mic to work and my bro moves out or i get my own room. He thinks he knows everything about Technology so he stopped me from getting a 20$ audio technika mic.

He was right. Neverrrr spend 20 dollars on a mic. You can get a good mic for 5 or so dollars. If you really want to have a mic build into your headset, do it yourself.

I'm reading up on how to do it with my AD-700's, and am going to once I get a mic.
