You can order a copy via amazon. i also think that you can download the US version if you make steam think you're in the us.

I read somewhere that you can go into the config in the gamefiles and change the settings.

I've never tried it because i dont have to and i do not own L4D anymore.

Apparently I found a way to play it uncut.

You gotta go to the L4d2 folder , open the steam_appid file and replace the number there with "510".
Then you gotta launch L4d2 over the folder - not over steam. If you do it over steam it will simply overwrite the change.

Tested it and apparently it works.
