That's how UV mapping works. The BLB Editor is not a one-click-make-things-work type of program. You need to know how to make bricks in the first place. This tool just assists you by showing a 3D brick in the editor so you don't need to start Blockland to see your changes.

Actually they are measurements, I don't work with BLB often, but I do know that it uses measurements and a 'up down side bottom' face hiding feature to make ramps and such work. It can also have custom meshes like the new plant bricks on RTB
