how do i make space ships look good?

i really need tips to making cool space ships you see with clans.
all i need is building tips, maybe designs.
keep in mind im not a builder, im an eventor, so i dont usually make stuff.
can someone please help me figure out how to make a ship look cool? interior is non-existant, boxy, and looks terrible. roosterpit is all that i can scrounge up! please help!

Uhhh I believe this would be better if in general discussion or maybe gallery. GD would probably be best. Help is for problems with running the game and such.

Either way, I can't much help you as I'm not a very good builder either. Try looking at other player made ship and use them for reference on designs and stuff.
