My dad is an IT specialist, is great with computers, and knows a bunch of people with computer stuff.  He can basically make an 8gb RAM with an Intel i7 3.4 GHz quad-core processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 graphics card desktop for under $400.

Though I can't wait to get my computer upgraded.

The only thing bad about it is the RAM, otherwise it looks good.

RAM looks good to me. I guess it could have a little more MHz but does it really matter that much?

The specs aren't that bad, but you need to keep in mind, with a beefy laptop like that, you're going to have overheating issues.
