Video editing programs which to use?

I used to use what's called VideoPad. It's free for a trial version and I remember the premium version being rather cheap. It's actually not too bad.

Used it, both premium and trial.
The video gets horrible quality after it's done being made and I save the file, audio and video don't sync.
Either something's wrong with my computer or I'm doing something wrong or it just hates me.


Gonna get Sony Vegas Pro soon.
