Would you recommend disabling it since I have no use for it due to having an actual graphics card?

You don't have to. I have a dedicated card as well as integrated graphics, I just checked seconds ago and both are enabled. I have no problems personally however if you think that programs are in fact using the Intel graphics, you can disable them if you want.

if you want to, here's how to do it:

right click Computer -> properties -> device manager -> display adapters -> double click Intel(R) HD Graphics 2000 -> go to 'Driver' tab -> Disable

edit: just disabled mine, nothing broke or anything. perfectly safe to do. (however do NOT click uninstall driver)

Well I disabled it and enabled it, both times testing L4D2 - no adverse effects when it was enabled or disabled. Silly me, there is a glitch in L4D2 that turns off shadows when your melee weapon is equipped.

Regardless, I'm glad I am aware about this now - I think I'm going to keep it enabled since it doesn't affect much and it won't hurt to keep it on.

Thank you to all of you! You were very helpful!
