I said they don't address each other as Guy.  As in, directly talking to them.  IE, "Shut up, Guy."  It just doesn't work.

I'm pretty sure they just say eachother's names and if they don't, they just say "shut up" or "shut up man"

my brother calls people kids over xbox live on cod just because he's angry
funny thing is he's 14

If you're talking to a guy you don't like, you don't say "SHUT UP, GUY!"

If you're talking to a guy you don't like, you don't say "SHUT UP, GUY!"

I don't think OP was directly speaking towards Christopher P. He was talking about him in third person and there it would be appropriate to call him "guy", not when talking to him directly.

I'm sorry

And no, people of the same age don't address each other as "guy".  :B
Please get the forget out

Chris has xbox live?

Did not know that.

I'm a kid and I call other kids kids.
Saying kids can't call kids kids is almost like saying "wowe u callid anuther boy a boy u just trying 2 be a girl idiot omg"

Yosher is correct. "Kid" is a demeaning term. For the most part, when you call someone a kid, during an argument at least, you are trying to establish dominance over them. It is the same thing as when people in the south called black men "boy." This is why "man" developed as a term that you call your friends, because it is the opposite of boy.

So again, calling someone "kid" implies that you are somehow better/(more mature) than them.
