Author Topic: Blockland not Detecting new Graphics Card  (Read 1915 times)

Make sure your monitor's VGA cord or etcetera is hooked up to 9400 and not the motherboard.

It is.

Disable the HD 4200 in the Device Manager.

The 4200 isn't displayed in my device manager. And yes, I have all files shown.

Also, this card works fine on all other games.

I'm sorry, but try reinstalling.

Is that your newest console.log file?

disregard this i'm stupid
are you using the NVIDIA ForceWare drivers or the Microsoft supplied drivers?

Microsoft.

It installed when I plugged it in.

Microsoft.
...yeah this is exactly why it's doing this.
I'm pretty sure Microsoft's drivers include barely any support for OpenGL but include massive amounts of support for DirectX. It's bias, but the first thing you're supposed to do when you install new hardware (or reinstall the OS) is obtain proper drivers from the manufacturer. In this case, you can obtain the proper ones for Windows Vista & 7 32-bit, or 64-bit.
Follow the installation instructions, restart your computer, start up Blockland, enjoy shaders.

You need to get the drivers from nvidia.com or geforce.com

Ive been to this website to check for driver updates, and it came up with nothing. But that was just for driver updates for the current Microsoft drivers.

Ill get the proper drivers after work and report back.

My Blockland is working after I swapped drivers.

You have my thanks KoopaScooper.
