Run BL from a flash drive?

Is there any possible way that I can put BL on a flash drive and start it so that it doesn't download everything to the computer, and only runs off of the flash drive? This is possible with Minecraft, but I know MC works very differently than Blockland. Is there any way to do this or am I just kind of stuck?

I imagine just changing -profilePath to wherever you put it on your flash drive should work

What about that whole "blockland portable" download then? I would think that is what you should use for doing things like this?

Blockland portable? I don't think I've heard of that, I'll look it up

Well look into blockland portable (never heard of it myself, though), it looks like it might be better for this

To answer your question, though:

Blockland files are now stored in %userprofile%\My Documents\Blockland (Windows) or /Users/<username>/Documents/Blockland (Macintosh). For advanced users, this can be changed via the -profilePath command line argument.

Example:

Windows: C:\Program Files\BlocklandLauncher.exe -profilePath "D:\games\Blockland"
Macintosh: /Applications/BlocklandLauncher.app/Contents/MacOS/BlocklandLauncher -profilePath "/Foobar/Blockland"

Oh- one question, since I'm going to try using BL at school in my free time with this, which internet connection type should I put? I honestly don't know the difference between broadband and dial-up, would I be wrong in guessing that most schools use broadband?

Most schools probably use broadband.

So, uh, how would one go aboit doing this?

Download blockland into the flashdrive
set the profile path to the flashdrive
copy all my blockland stuffs (addons&saves) to flashdrive
take flashdrive to school
put flershdrerrve into school computer
run the launcher
