Why would human blood taste any saltier than cow's blood?
For 1, humans eat a lot of sodium. That goes to our blood. And guess where that goes?

My cows used to eat/lick salt licks... I imagine they'd have salty blood.

It's just that human meat sort of crumbles or splits into many little pieces when chewed and gets stuck in your throat and it's weird.
