blockland forums needs a rep system

rep is a useless system and it's not needed. no one is posting downloads, so looking at the rep only shows how much they have to brag about

Reputation systems are terrible. You will likely get downvoted more for simply having a dissenting opinion about waffles versus pancakes.

They are in no real way to determine a users credibility, potential behavior, and the like. You can easily gather your moronic friends just to hit a particular user for no reason, thus killing the legitimacy of their positive/negative points and the purpose of the system.

You want to penalize people for downvoting? That's just stupid.
