Author Topic: Finally got my MCAS results back  (Read 408 times)

None of you know what MCAS are while its stands for Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System

You basically take this long test and see how you compare to others in your school, district, and state
I got a 258 out of 280.
About 2 points below "Advanced" category. So I scored extremely high in the "Proficient" section. This test was for Biology.
24% of kids in my class passed with "Advanced", 62% with "Proficient", 12% with "Needs Improvement" and 2% Failed. (I believe you have to stay back, possibly)
Weaknesses and Strengths:

BIOLOGY                        My Score %          Score of Students in "Low End Proficiency"
Biochemistry and Cell Biology     73%                                           47%
Genetics                                58%                                          52%
Anatomy and Physiology           100%                                         54%
Evolution and Biodiversity          92%                                         58%
Ecology                                  75%                                         65%

On the whole test I only got 4 wrong out of 45 and 4 with partial credit

This year I have my Math MCAS and my English MCAS
