PROBABILITY AT IT'S FINEST.
That blew my mind a little. That's why I think this is so cool.
my friend gambles on runescape. (or he used to)

he believed in the gambler fallacy thing. basically if somebody lost their gamble and did it once or twice more and failed all those times, he would jump in to get a bigger number. but he stood no better chances. i tried to explain it but he said it was part of runescape code or something
He just needs to pray to the random number god.

One thing that still confuses me is that if you flip a coin three times, there's a one in eight chance of it being heads each time, but for each flip, it's a fifty percent chance of being heads. If someone could explain that to me, I'd be grateful.
