Author Topic: my laptop speakers actually put the cheaper DESKTOP speakers to shame.  (Read 604 times)

now, i paid $700 for this laptop, i didn't expect special laptop speakers.
what kind of speakers i got for $700:
LOUD AS forget DESKTOP QUALITY SPEAKERS.

i'd say low-medium end speakers in the desktop side.

it wasn't super impressive when i got it, because i forgot to turn on one feature.

one feature that makes everything but the windows startup sound better.

the dolby advanced audio feature.

this aint no tinny beats audio scamstuff (my brothers laptop has beats audio and it makes no difference, on or off)
this is the real loving laptop theatre deal.

whenever i turn it off now it sounds a bit piss poorish.

with this on i can actually HEAR skyrim and some shows.

i just cant describe how non tinny this sounds, it just sounds amazing for my laptop.
watching movies is now an even bigger enjoyment with this, why dont all $700 laptops have this?

It likely has a maximizer tuned to that laptops speakers. You can really make almost any set of speakers sing with a little bit of audio engineering on the software side.

People who don't want to go deaf.
the reason i use headphones is because i don't feel like having my mom comment on everything i listen to

"fuk da police"

The reason i don't use speakers is because i don't have them.

I don't know why people always think laptop=automatically bad speakers. If you're spending a lot on a nice laptop, the speakers are going to be good like the rest of the laptop.

the funny thing is, $700 is not a lot in laptop language.

so its not even a lot for nice speakers.

Sure it is. Low end laptops can go as low as $300-$350. If you're straying away from performance powerhouse laptops meant for enthusiasts, $700 is upper-mid end to lower-high end.
