Shaky ass cursor when using USB mouse on netbook

I'm trying to draw but the cursor when selecting is shaky and hnng

when it's not touching any surfaces (ie upside down) or unplugged it doesn't loiter around but when i'm using a sheet of clean paper as a mousepad it spazzes around like a thing posessed.

any idea what might be causing this?

I have the same problem with my laptop, but it only happens with one mouse

Turned off, still wiggles around a little.

mine has no issues when pointer precision is turned off

i have this too, sometimes when i'm not touching the mouse the cursor just randomly shakes around, and also sometimes when im trying to move the cursor it just flies across the screen

Try putting the mouse on another surface.
