Author Topic: Anti-Abortion protest at my school  (Read 7070 times)

Seeing how many immature forgets there are in my school, no.
I would like it to be suitable subject but not right now.
Also, they must be good protestors if instead of putting up an argument they just flip you the finger.

We already learned abortion in school. It hasn't affected anyone.

And on the topic of should it be allowed in public schools,
The day that Americans can't openly discuss social and political issues inside of a PUBLIC school is the day that I completely give up on the beliefs America was founded upon.
Is that the day that it becomes against the rules, or the day that the resulting arguments turn into fights and become a safety hazard?

its an appropriate topic for college yes. highschool no lol.

mostly because they are all non voters whom opinions dont matter yet. and non voters should NOT be learning politics from other non voters.
its an idiot clusterforget on both sides at your school.

Well iv been reading unwind, and the auther came and talked about it so ya he talked alittle about abortion

They arent mature enough to handle other opinions because it is almost entirely baseless. Most of the propaganda for anti-aborion is just calling people murderers and shoving pictures of disembered fetuses in their face. I don't trust a cause that relies on shock value to spread their view. I have never seen a pro-choice protestor holding up disgusting signs.

Still, this protest was entirely legal, and is one of the more peaceful ones from the sound of it. Unless it became a lot more disruptive this is fully protected by the first amendment.
