it seems they basically upgraded the 3rd then ditched it. not even a year old, lol

I've only had two phones in my entirely life.
This is my current phone which I got back in 2008:


Which I use just to call my friends. No texting, websurfing, music, ect. Just talking, and a clock. You guys are pretty spoiled to be getting expensive spartphones every year.

I think you missed the fact that tablets are bullstuff considering the fact they can do pretty much anything but be a phone, but we have Skype and other video calling programs for that.

The iPad 4 didn't change anything.  It's just a negligibly faster processor and it uses the new dock.
