I'm right next to the sun, i was showing you can actually go to the sun flare, my previous post explains getting to the sun and how it acts

Masterlegodude is right, this is possible. I've done it before myself, actually.
It's hard to get a photo because of how the flare works, however.

Also, i tried getting to the clouds

Can't do that apparently, i was so high up that my game slowed to a halt and died

The sun is as big as normal in that image.

If i remember correctly, i didn't mess with the sun's size or anything, perhaps it just didn't seem any smaller up close

Are you expecting it to get bigger the closer you get or something? The sun flare is a constant size.

Yeah, but I still can't see him being "near the sun flare" in any way in that image.

Do you want me to take a picture from every side?

Take a picture where the center of the sun flare is in front of your player

Take a picture where the center of the sun flare is in front of your player
Unfortunately, that's not how it works, it doesn't act like flares usually do, the picture i posted, the center of the flare is not being obstructed

This shows that i was behind the sun, the 2x3 brick tower shows where the sun is

I found the sun, and it's true

Trust me, it's impossible to take a picture with it in front of you, it looks like a normal sunflare in sky

save file please

Only the second flare texture shows up when you're there and apparently it disappears if you load up the save and Self Delete to teleport to the spot, so the save idea is out

All you have to do is use the mission editor to set your camera speed to the max, set the timescale to 2, and fly towards the sun flare holding down the left mouse button to speed up even more

It will take quite some time, maybe 10 minutes or more, i wasn't keeping count

Basically you can't control it's size, color, or position but you can change it's texture, and it fades out if you move outside the range in which it's visible, so it can't be seen from all directions

Also, it appears that it's behind whatever object is around it even if the object is behind the sun
