It just plays like normal tetris for me, only slower.
I got all the useful pieces, made 1.2k, and closed the tab.

I was doing so well.

And then the game crashes on my and doesn't give my ANYMORE PIECES.

Nevermind, It didn't crash. In fact, IT's lettining me decide where to put my pieces. It doesn't even fall.

Everything went better than expected.
