Author Topic: Connection issues  (Read 1952 times)

The past few days I have been having difficulty staying connected to blockland servers. I will connect to the server, then a few minutes later I will lag out. I go to the server list, query internet, and the server has a -- for the ping, as if the server had crashed or something. I am finally able to reconnect to that server, I had asked why the server went down, and all the players say the server never went down. Why would I lose the ability to connect to only ONE server while I can still connect to all the others? It gets even weirder from there. So, the two main servers (but not the only servers) I go on are Pecon's Boss battles, and Reinforcment's Trench wars, both I assume are hosted by Kalph. The connection times out when I try connect to ONE of these servers, yet I still can connect to the other EVEN THOUGH the IP is exactly the same. Keep in mind, the servers never went down and the other players had no issues.

This is a problem with your internet.  Join servers with low pings to minimize random disconnects.

My problem was my Router.

That is probably the source of your issues.

I found out what the issue was. It turns out that my antivirus for some reason was blocking the connection to the servers randomly. Disabling Antivirus fixed the problem.
