Author Topic: Fixing Bot Events  (Read 1617 times)

As you most likely know, bot events were failed on RTB and do not work through RTB. Is there any way around this? Bot events are pretty useful, so I want them back.

Help?

Apperantly it is failbinned. But...you can bypass that. You open the Event_Bots folder with 7zip or Winrar and do namecheck. You then do rtbinfo. Then change the version to 8. Note that it will keep asking you to update. Always decline the update.

I should have mentioned that I'm on a Mac.

I tried to find them in my add-ons, but they only show up in RTB.

what?
just change the name of the event_bots folder to something else, like events_botses and then change the namecheck.txt to match the name of the folder

and idk what rtbinfo does but that might be something to delete

So I accidentally deleted it today thinking I could re-download it. Anyone have a link where I can download it again?

Sorry, it is too late. The interent RTB failbinned it. However, the RTB mod manager on Blockland did not failbin it. Today, I checked it to see if it was there. But it was not. Sorry to tell you this.

This is a simple fix. If you have it installed upload it to mediafire and give me the link -_-

He would get banned doing so, as posting a CRC'ed(Failed) Addon results in a ban.

Someone has to be working on a Bot Events II though so don't give up hope.

Or you could just rename the zip folder and namecheck. That should do it

Elm stated he was going to work on it after he was done with something else

Now why would you give someone instructions on how to use a crc'ed addon that is highly bugged and abusable.
