Flash Marcomedia 8 Help

so i'm using flash 8 for my adventure in community projects, and i want to somehow use animated movie clips in there too, i'm exporting from flash as animated gif's, but when i export it with the animated movie clips, they are just static when i'm viewing them. please help

Export them as QuickTime movies then open them in Photoshop and click "Save for Web & devices" make sure it loops forever towards the bottom right corner then export and there you have it.
