i downloaded a map but it won't appear in "start a game".

The new version of Blockland has removed the feature to use terrain maps. The game does not have maps anymore, only an infinite baseplate that you can customize. You can create terrain easily with the creation of the new add-on Terrain Bricks. Aditionally, you can download Terrain Brick Prints to add textures to your terrain, and Inverted Terrain Bricks.

i was talking about some other maps than terrian. do you know how to load maps other than terrian?

admin menu should allow you to change ground texture and lighting and whatnot.

you can't turn a map into a game mode the only thing that can be used to make a map into a terrain is the skybox and other resources like textures but thats about it nothing else.


An alternative would be to build terrain yourself.

Go to the in-game Menu, select "Admin Menu", select "Environmental Settings", customize settings.
Terrain was removed due to Version 21, and replaced with shaders and shadows.
