Author Topic: Brick Collision Model  (Read 823 times)

Do you need to export brick collision models differently or something? Because whenever I put mine in game it says this:
Error: shape Add-Ons/Brick_Crates/4xCrateCollision.dts-collision detail 0 (Collision-1) bounds box invalid!
Error: shape Add-Ons/Brick_Crates/4xCrateCollision.dts-collision detail 0 (Collision-1) bounds box invalid!

You don't need DTS collision for cuboid collision shapes. OP needs more info like pictures of his brick.

I've only made the collision the part of the collision model for the plate right now to test it out.

What did you use for making the mesh? The way I exported collision meshes for ramps was the following:
(NB.: I'm using Blender 2.49b with the 0.97b3 version of the dts exporter)

-Make the mesh - it has to be a convex shape! If you want something concave, make it from two convex shapes!

Setting up the exporter :
-Change the detail level to "Collision"
-Make the button correspond with the layer where the collision object is found
-Export

I'm quite new to Blender so you'll have to explain what a convex shape and detail levels and whatever that next thing is to me.

Done.
