I have a 3DS to fiddle with as a tinker-toy during my breaks at work.

Honestly though, the system is crap as all handhelds are.  The main issue is... it doesn't have any good games that are remarkable on their own, like Pokemon was to the Gameboy Color. 

Pokemon sold that system like crazy, but the 3DS just blows all by itself... Luigi's Mansion isn't even released yet, and the newer 3DS is already out.
