No one gives a stuff about people getting killed unless it involves children or people in the US and even then a substantial amount of kids are murdered daily in cold blood and no one cares. Women and children getting murdered in the middle east and no one gives two forgets. It's bullstuff and the only reason people lose their stuff is because it involves guns. I'm not a one sided person (in political terms) but gun control isn't going to stop shootings from happening. Making guns illegal will make obtaining them WAY easier especially for the MENTALLY ILL and those with CRIMINAL RECORDS. Do you think a dealer gives two flying forgets about mental illness or criminal records? No he only cares about money. Same thing with marijuana. Do you think a street dealer cares about the lives of LITTLE kids? No he also just cares about money. But licensed individuals and stores/companies alike do care and are required by LAW (which is something dealers don't follow) to conduct background checks and other precautions. The guns in the Gritty Grapnel shooting were owned by a licensed and legal individual but she failed to keep them from the hands of her mentally ill son. That is the responsibility of the CITIZEN not the GOVERNMENT to prevent that. That was my two cents I'm out
