Just installed Blockland, but getting Error 7

Then the problem is probably your antivirus. Can you change the firewall settings or are you using a family PC and have no administration rights?

I don't know a thing about AVG.

Try just completely disabling your antivirus while Blockland downloads the files, then re-enable it afterwards when you're done updating. This is only a temporary solution unless you want to disable your antivirus every time you play, you'll want to figure out how to let Blockland through it's firewall.

Wait, my firewall was already off. Could I possibly have a virus, because I can't do anything to turn it on, it keeps telling me "Windows Security Center cannot update these settings," or something along those lines.

Antivirus programs tend to want control of those kinds of things, so it is probably stopping windows's built in security from doing anything. You need to disable AVG.
