Author Topic: Grandparents aren't doing too well :(  (Read 354 times)

So, yesterday he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer stage 3A, that means they cannot do surgery. He's probably going to do Cyber knife, or something. He's 79, he's lived a pretty good life, he's got lots of grand children who love him and him and my grandma are both retired. He smoked for about a while, but stopped when one of his grand children asked if they can smoke with him... My Grandma had a Kidney failure, and had to go through all that. She's weak, she doesn't have the best of breathing, but she's doing okay.

Earlier today around 2:30 PM my Grandpa was helping my Grandma out of the car, when he fell, hit his head on their other car and fell and hurt his back. So then my Aunt called my Mom and asked her to come down and take my Grandma to get her planned surgery today. While she rides with my grandpa down to the hospital, ambulance and everything. I currently have no more news :( But I hope he's okay...

Any of you had things like this happen?

so sorry to hear that :c
hope everything goes well

My parents are like 53 years old. Its sad to see them grow older and older every day, knowing that i will someday lose them. Although i'm not going to go all Alyx Vance about it by crying like a little bitch about his father beating the hell out of his wife and banging her head against the WiFi port which causes his post to turn into weeping "girl on period" type spoofs of anger.

how did that escalate into something that bad so quickly?

That's really sad, I hope he gets better. My grandfather had a really bad fall too.
My cousin and I were on the computer one day while my grandfather was restocking some ink cartridges, when his defibrillator started going off. He started banging on the printer, then fell over and hit his head on the back of a chair. It knocked him out and his head was bleeding.
