Author Topic: I might hate people who self diagnose [rant] Stop taking this title literally  (Read 728 times)

Seriously people why the forget do you care if you have OCD or whatever weird ass condition you are aiming to pretend you have? It doesn't help you in anyway live your life and if a loving DOCTOR says something maybe you should listen to them.

You all should watch this if you think you have some stuff: http://www.ted.com/talks/jon_ronson_strange_answers_to_the_psychopath_test.html

But seriously, I love it when people say they have some kind of mental defect that they're imposing on themselves, so it becomes a habit to act like that.

i dont know why you would like people who self diagnose...

what if the person self-diagnosing themselves is a doctor

or what if i stub my toe and diagnose myself with a stubbed toe

I think I hate this as a catalyst to causing a forgetstorm of [rant] fad threads.

yeah, unless you are qualified by means of an actual legitimate education on the subject to diagnose yourself or anyone else with the given condition(s), you shouldn't.

it's OK to think there's the possibility, but don't say you have it unless you get confirmation from someone qualified to say so.

You're right. It's all in my head, I'm a loving drama queen, I should never have mentioned it to anybody in the first place, "a still tongue makes a wise head", it's a phase and I'm overreacting, go apestuff about it.

So if i diagnosed myself with a headache, you might hate me? :c

Supposedly half of this forum has both OCD and ADHD along with anxiety

I'm perfect.

I was diagnosed by my ego.

theres this annoying kid named ryan, he thinks i am his friend, his mos tells him he has adhd, and asthma. he carries a giant med bag, and fakes asthma attacks...

Haha why don't you just meet these forumers in real life? That'll clear things up plenty.
