Author Topic: God damn I love working on guitars.  (Read 609 times)

That's all I've been doing today.

I have this crappy Peavey Raptor guitar that was my first guitar, and I'm trying to make it look up.

So far I completely removed and wiped down the tremolo, re assembled it and screwed it in properly so it actually works (The previous owner screwed it down flat) , and I found this lubricant I plan to use on the saddles.

I'm probably going to pick up a soldering iron in the near future also, as I have some humbucking pickups from an old project, and the body is already HSS routed. I'm also probably going to get locking tuners for my other guitar and put it's current tuners on this sometime in the future

I've also got a lot of high grit sandpaper so I'll probably relic it too, something like this

TL;DR: I'm a guitar nerd
