What the forget happened to the forums?

1: It isn't normal for the entire site, and by extension all sites Badspot has, to go down at once. Granted sometimes there are problems like this, but it is not common enough to be normal.
2: I do not believe anyone seriously thought it had anything to do with an update, but if you really think they were serious, I guess it does no harm.

Server gets restarted for updates maybe? What I mean by normal is I mean that it's normal for the server to shut down once for a little bit and come back, it's not like it HAS to be running every single freaking day and never get restarted.

I tried to access the forums this morning, I was surprised with a 404 error. Just my luck, I try to login during a 10-minute slip of time D:
