He created a spam bot, I've seen players get deactivated for doing similar more minor things before.

A Friend of mine I won't name, had both his keys deactivated a day after spamming a servers chat.

Although I sort of take that back because that guy siba mentioned probably used a bot with an automatic name or key changer and/or an automatic rejoiner.
