Getting some weird computer errors..

So recently whenever I startup I keep getting this odd notepad file popup called debug.log saying

[0119/122724:WARNING:backend_impl.cc(1895)] Destroying invalid entry.
At first I thought maybe it was just a minor bug, but it's happened every time I start up now. And today I got this very unfamiliar looking screen on startup- even before the windows icon or anything appeared. It claimed that the computer didn't start correctly and began running something called "boot cleanup" Or "startup restore" or something along those lines, I don't remember. At this point I was pretty worried I accidentally got a virus, so I immediately forced the computer to shut-down and booted in safe mode. I already ran one virus scanner, Avast, so this time I ran malwarebytes anti-malware. Both times they found nothing.
     I looked up online similar issues, and they just said to try troubleshooting, which gave me no help, and to boot in safe mode or scan my computer with Windows Safety Scanner. I have a feeling either I did something stupid and messed up my computer, or I'm worrying for nothing and there is no problem. Help?

Sounds like OS corruption, which can happen after a power failure or after too many hard reboots. Backup your data and check your hard drive (this might be a sign of a dying hard drive if your OS is corrupt) and reinstall your OS.

Let your computer boot normally. It's likely just running a disk check.
Open Registry Editor.
Look under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" for any entries involving a file named debug.log.
Delete those entries.
If there are no entries there, I'd recommend scanning your registry for errors or reinstalling.
I've got no clue on what the forget this is but it doesn't sound like anything Windows would do. Do you have a debugging kernel installed over the regular NT kernel?

Didn't realize there was a registry entry for auto-running programs on startup.

Do this first. Only use my suggestion as a last resort.
