Settle an argument; Is raising one eyebrow rare?

I might be wrong, but I think the ability to raise a single eyebrow is a genetic trait.

My younger brother can raise a single eyebrow, but the rest of my family can't.
Although genetics and chance don't mean it's 100 hundred percent certain, I could only guess that it's a recessive trait, and most people can not rooster a single eyebrow.
Most people I know can not.

Sorry, I think my explanation is confusing.
When I say raising a single eyebrow, I mean raising either the left or the right eyebrow independently of the other, rather than having the inability to raise one of your two eyebrows at all.

I think it's rare to be able to raise 1 eyebrow at a time, but it is also common for people to be better at raising a left or right eyebrow instead of the other, if they can raise 1 eyebrow independently.


But maybe I'm confused by the what you mean.
