Author Topic: Easier way to replace and rename files?  (Read 446 times)

So I'm trying to replace every single voice clip in TF2 with a single sound file (please don't ask) and I have better things to do than manually copying the file and renaming it 2,000 times over. Is there an easier/less time-consuming way to replace a large set of files with a new one without altering their names?

I think it would be easier to make some sort of script for TF2 that always plays your sound file when any sound is played.

I have no idea how to do that, I doubt it even works when playing online.

someone could probably write a script if you or they could get a list of the names that must be replaced.
