Author Topic: Unable to connect to servers with port 28000  (Read 502 times)

Title. Servers with other ports work perfectly fine. Not much else to say, other than the connecting window gets stuck at "Connecting to [ip here]".

Also, a console and launcher log.

Not sure if this can happen but maybe your firewall is blocking the port 28000. Did you make a rule/role for port 28000? If not try going on your firewall program and create a rule for the Blockland application and allow it and then make one for Port 28000, however I am almost sure you only need to do this when you are hosting but just try it.

Nope, didn't work :c

Asked my brother. He said that my router may find the port 28000 dangerous, although he cannot edit this setting, as the firewall built in the router is automatic.

Nevermind, fixed it myself. Logged into router, looked under "Access Restrictions" and found out one of the Blocked Services was 'blockland' with ports 28000 - 29000 blocked. Strange how it does all these things automatically >_<

Locking.
