
Action Melee is a comprehensive combo-based melee weapon for Blockland. It has two main Heavy Combos, each with three to four variations. It also has a situational Air-Tackle (above), where you dive onto your opponent by simply punching in their direction, while standing still. There is also a grab & throw mechanic, that can be triggered by holding the punch button.
The Uncharted Playertype offers a bunch of experimental features, mainly jogging, climbing, and parrying. Jogging is as simple as holding the jump button. To perform a jump, tap it instead of holding it. There are five different situational jumps: standing jump high or low, depending on whether this is an object in front of you; moving jump high or low, depending on the same; and dynamic jump for when you jump off of something. Each has its own appearance to help you differentiate. The climbing mechanic, for right now, lets players free run up walls and climb when they get to the top. Players can also jump and then climb by holding space before or while touching the top ledge. In the future I will be adding an Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception-style climbing mechanic complete with side, up and downward climbing, and jumping in between far ledges (on the same wall). Finally right clicking before a projectile hits you lets your player avoid it and immediately counterattack with a heavy Action Melee-style strike.
