Didn't you buy 15Mb/s?
Go report that right nao

15Mb/s doesn't actually mean 15 at least with my isp With mine it means at least 12 Mb/s, not guaranteed anything more than that.

My family is considering upgrading to 40mbps internet

10Mb/s is roughly 1.2MB/s download.
I know because I have a download speed that went from 10.5Mb/s to 18Mb/s so now I can max out at around 2.5MB/s download.

(for those who don't know this conversion; 8Mb (Megabits) = 1MB (Megabyte))

Even 1MB/s is really good for a basic home connection. Downloads finish relatively quickly and light server hosting is pretty smooth.

I downloaded both GTA IV and both of its DLCs today.

That would have taken me two weeks before.

Not to mention my mother used the internet all day.

This is fantastic.

Enjoy it while you can.

Soon China will hack your ISP and North Korea will blow up all the major cities with server warehouses.

I "upgraded" and now I have this:

But yeah,
Enjoy it while you can.

my family has a 50 megabits per second download plan and gets 20 megabits per second instead

worst part is my father works for the company that provides it.
