How do I tell a blockland ID without the returntoblockland ID lookup?

options>advanced>show bl_ids on playerlist>click apply>close>open playerlist

Go to the options menu and look under the advanced tab
Scroll down all the way to the bottom I believe and there is an option along the lines of "show BL_IDs in player list"
Then when you hit f2, the player list will show the BL_ID for each person

This was once default but badspot added this preference as a measure to discourage ID discrimination

V11 Problem 10:  Certain less sophisticated users abuse other players on the basis of their numerical ID.

V12 Solution:  Since the ID numbers are a necessary part of the game, we can't get rid of the entirely.  In v12, they are hidden by default.  They can be re-enabled in the advanced options menu.  The theory here is that the sort of user who is likely to abuse people based on ID is unlikely to explore the advanced options.
